Our Purpose

We are a spiritual oasis for cultivating self-awareness, healing, and well-being by exploring the deeper meanings, inner wisdom, and unique truths of our lives. We tend our world with love.

Our Vision

My Oasis Center is guided by the human desire to connect with traditional and nontraditional understandings of our relationship with the Divine, creation, and one another.

Our Mission

My Oasis Center nourishes all who seek healing and wellness in body, mind, and soul through practices and experiences that support those of any spiritual path or faith tradition, as well as those who claim none.

Announcing our newest practitioner, Sarah Snider

We are excited to announce that Sarah Snider has joined My Oasis Center as a new practitioner. Sarah is a poet, artist, spiritualist and philosopher and is the owner of Poetess & Stranger in Petoskey.

She has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Minnesota Morris, and is committed to continued education & introspection which enables her to advance community oriented support for poets, artists, and thinkers. “The focus of my practice is on the concept of wonder. I wonder about the world, and wonder at it. I believe that with curiosity and radical acceptance (which is not passive), I can move through this world with the spirit of tenderness and enlightenment in such a way that benefits the people and community that I love.”

Please join us in welcoming Sarah to our family! Read more about her here.

Start 2025 by meditating on the past year and the year just beginning.  My Oasis Center practitioners will lead community members in different, brief meditations for ourselves and our community.

Introduction to the Enneagram

The Enneagram is a tool to help us reflect on how we view the world, our neighbors and ourselves.  It conveys a system of knowledge about nine distinct but interrelated personality types or nine ways of seeing and experiencing the world.  This workshop will show attendees how to apply Enneagram lessons for daily living and growth.

The workshop runs from 9:00AM to 12:00PM on Saturday, February 8 in the Carnegie Building at 451 East Mitchell Street in Petoskey.

A Welcoming Place

We extend an invitation to people of all ages and faiths. Our mission is to cultivate an accessible, authentic, and exploratory place where spiritual seekers can come together. Find out how you can join the community and support our initiatives.
